Founder's Note

I didn't start WeWandr because I love travel planning.

Truthfully, travel planning really stresses me out.

With three boys in a little over three years, we had barely travelled with our kids, and I told myself that this simply wasn't our "travel era."

At the same time, friends were travelling with their young kids all the time. When I asked about their trips, I expected to hear how exhausting they were, how much work they took, or why they would never do it again. Sometimes I did, but more often, I heard stories.

Stories about what surprised them, what made the trip easier, what was worth the effort and what they would do differently next time.

It made me realize that families come home from every trip knowing things you rarely find in travel content. They've solved the logistics, adapted plans around their kids and learned what the experience really felt like.

But most of that knowledge stays in conversations between friends, shared at the playground, over coffee or in a group chat, then easily lost.

WeWandr was created to give those experiences somewhere to live, so families planning a trip can learn from families who have already taken it.

Because the right details, shared honestly, can make another family's trip feel more doable, and perhaps even possible.

That's what we're building together.

Real trips. Real families. Real context.

This is just the beginning, and I'm so glad you're here.
