Terms of Use

Effective date: September 12, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and WeWandr Inc. (“WeWandr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you access or use the WeWandr website, platform, and related services.

By using WeWandr, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

What WeWandr Provides

WeWandr is a community-powered platform where people can share and discover family travel experiences.

Guides and recommendations are contributed by individual travelers. WeWandr does not independently verify every statement, recommendation, photograph, link, price, safety condition, or other detail.

WeWandr is currently an MVP. Features may change, be added, be removed, or occasionally be unavailable as we learn from the community and develop the platform.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to create an account or contribute content.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure.
  • Be responsible for activity conducted through your account.
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Maintain only accounts that you are authorized to use.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect WeWandr, its users, or the integrity of the platform.

Public Content and Privacy

Profiles, guides, photographs, comments, links, and other published contributions are public unless WeWandr clearly identifies them as private.

Do not publish information you want to keep private. You are responsible for reviewing your content before publishing it and for protecting the privacy of children and other people included in it.

Drafts are intended to remain unpublished until you choose to publish them. However, no online service can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free storage. Keep copies of any content you do not want to lose.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the original content you submit to WeWandr.

By uploading or publishing content, you give WeWandr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make your content available through the platform. This licence allows us to operate, improve, and promote WeWandr, including displaying your guide in search results, guide previews, social posts, newsletters, and other WeWandr marketing.

This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to WeWandr.

The licence continues for as long as your content is available through WeWandr. It may continue for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal compliance, previously created promotional materials, and content shared or saved by others.

When practical, we will honour requests to stop using your identifiable content in new promotional materials.

Your Responsibilities

You represent that:

  • You created your content or have permission to use and share it.
  • Your content does not infringe another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
  • You have permission to share identifiable images or information about other people.
  • Your content is not intentionally false, deceptive, unlawful, or harmful.
  • Any sponsorship, gift, discount, affiliate relationship, or other material benefit connected to a recommendation is clearly disclosed.
  • External files and links you share have appropriate permissions and do not expose information without authorization.

You remain responsible for your content and the consequences of publishing it.

Acceptable Use

You may not use WeWandr to:

  • Violate our Community Guidelines or applicable law.
  • Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or harm another person.
  • Share unlawful, discriminatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or dangerous content.
  • Upload malware or interfere with the platform’s operation or security.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect user information without permission.
  • Send spam or manipulate engagement signals.
  • Access another person’s account.
  • Copy, sell, or commercially exploit the platform or its content without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to WeWandr’s systems.
  • Use automated tools to access the platform in a way that places an unreasonable burden on it.

Travel Information and Safety

Content on WeWandr reflects personal experiences and is provided for general informational and inspirational purposes only.

It is not professional travel, medical, legal, safety, financial, or childcare advice. Experiences differ, and information may become outdated.

Before making travel decisions, you are responsible for confirming important details, including:

  • Entry and documentation requirements.
  • Health and vaccination guidance.
  • Weather and local conditions.
  • Transportation and accommodation details.
  • Accessibility.
  • Child restraint and safety laws.
  • Prices, hours, availability, and cancellation terms.
  • Insurance and emergency information.

You are responsible for evaluating whether a destination, activity, accommodation, product, or recommendation is appropriate for your family.

Third-Party Services and Links

WeWandr may contain links to accommodations, activities, restaurants, maps, planning documents, booking providers, and other third-party services.

WeWandr does not control or endorse every third-party service mentioned by a contributor. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, policies, safety, products, or services.

Any interaction or transaction between you and a third party is between you and that third party.

Moderation and Removal

We may review, restrict, edit, decline to publish, or remove content when we reasonably believe it:

  • Violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
  • Infringes another person’s rights.
  • Creates a privacy, security, or safety concern.
  • Is misleading, fraudulent, irrelevant, or technically harmful.
  • Exposes WeWandr or another person to legal risk.

We are not obligated to monitor every contribution, and allowing content to appear does not mean we endorse or verify it.

If you believe content violates your rights or our policies, contact support@wewandr.co.

WeWandr’s Content and Intellectual Property

The WeWandr name, logo, branding, platform design, software, and original materials are owned by or licensed to WeWandr Inc. They may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used commercially without our permission.

These Terms do not give you ownership of WeWandr’s trademarks, technology, or other intellectual property.

Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. This helps us improve WeWandr, but it does not give us ownership of content you publish as a guide.

Changes and Availability

We may modify, test, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that WeWandr or any particular content will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

We may update these Terms as the platform develops. We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continuing to use WeWandr after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, WeWandr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of user contributions.
  • That a recommendation will be suitable for your family.
  • The quality, safety, legality, or availability of a third-party service.
  • That the platform will always operate without interruption or data loss.
  • Any particular travel experience or outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeWandr Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on user content, interaction with another user, or use of a third-party service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeWandr’s total liability arising from or connected with the platform will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid directly to WeWandr during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • CAD $100.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold WeWandr Inc. harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Content you submit.
  • Your misuse of the platform.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of another person’s rights.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by WeWandr’s own unlawful conduct.

Termination

You may stop using WeWandr at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support@wewandr.co.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or use the platform unlawfully.

Sections that reasonably need to continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions, will remain in effect.
